The C.O.F. was established in 1955 to promote the interests of coach operators.

Our aims are to improve the coach industry as a whole and to optimise the public's view of coaches in the South West, from Dorset to Gloucestershire, as well as analysing the effects of new and proposed legislation on the industry. Over forty coach and bus operators are COF members, between them offering all types of vehicles and services, including :
minbus, minicoach, standard and executive coach hire
double-deck buses and coaches
vintage coaches
excurions and holidays, including overseas.
